A Littie taste Of my weird taste of music

Now, this isnt going to be in order of what i like, but more of a sampling of the different types. Sometimes i like a song for the lyrics, mostly for the music. I like alot of things. Rock, Techno, classical, showtunes, pop, and sometimes country.

So, heres a taste. And I guarentee you not all of this will be in english.

Since I was 14, I was a total Otaku when I found what Digimon and yugioh were like without the FCC raping them like hell:

So, I started out with digimon: Frontier. Neat plotline, amazing pop music.

This was the first opening it had, "Fire!" by Wada Koji

of course i found all of these on lime wire so when i found yugioh! ep1 I was like thinking what was on the WB. Come to find out they BANNED an entire Season of yugioh that was really dark and shit but i tracked it all down and it is AWesome.

Field of View " 渇いた叫び"

After hearing that song I was like, I have to find more from this band! this song is so catchy!

I know some people don't like it, but the same band did the First opening for Dragonball GT

Field of View- "DAN DAN Kokoro Hikareteku"

Needless to say I listen to those when im in a happy mood and wanna dance around.

Then, I found Miyazaki, and namely Joe Hisashi. He is, hands down, my favorite composer.

He does the music for All the Ghibli movies.

This I found at one of my first anime conventions and its always captured my heart with fantasy and always fills me with...well the magic intended

Joe Hisashi- Reprise, from the movie "Spirited Away"

It was soon after this anime convention, I found my first bi-shonen, Gravitation.

the story of a 16 year old rock hopeful, Shuichi Shindou, who falls for a novelist, eiri Yuki.

One song, which was featured in the OVA is one i could sing for a while and is my fav of the whole Series

Iceman- SHINING COLLECTION

A Techno J-rock Love song really.

Then, I was introduced to Malice Mizer and Gackt. The songs Gackt did were racy as hell but soooo cool. This is my J-Rock.
Malice Mizer- Shiori

Malice Mizer is known for their Performing Art. It was Mana (the one in the maid outfit) who really started the Lolita Craze. Only thing is.... Mana.....Is a Guy.

Gackt - Papa Lapped A Pap Lopped

The song is so interesting, and yeah...take a wild guess as to what 'trigger' means

Then, in the tradition of following now broken up bands, I got into Zone.

They did the opening for the new Astroboy series, and broke up when they decided to continue their education into college
Zone- Secret Base

Not my fav of theirs but so meaningful

But im not solely a J-pop person. I like things like Celtic music, beatles, rolling stones, And even as far back as Glen Millers Big Band.

Well, im going to take my shower. Ill add more of my selections later. I still have to blog about people who dance to their fav anime (aka Hare Yukai people)

Heres a preview:
