(My Drawing 1 final.... I still don't like it)
So has anyone else tried puttering around with their profile on myspace only to have a mini moral dilemma when it comes to the Top Friends list? One of my friends from Australia went out of her way on myspace to find me, and I knew her for a long time online.
So I did what came as a no brainer, I put her in my top friends. Then I realized, top 8? thats too little to display, but i dont wanna bulk up my entire page with the friends list. I Decided to extend it to top 12.
Then Another Dilemma... the Top Friend slot....#1...
currently Ray was sitting there right next to Madison and josh then maria and so on and so forth.
I tried putting Josh there and it kept giving me issues for some reason. I flopped everyone around: current friends, close friends, family friends, online friends, cosplay friends.
Finnaly I decided to do the only logical thing that felt right: Violet, Mary Kate's best friend, had to go in the top slot. ... Oh. Seems I did put Josh in the First slot. I remember when people would get upset and fight over where they were in the top friends page of their friends its like 'wtf? its just another way for them to control you!'
So for now, Ive decided to blend together all of my friends. The top 12 goes like this (and dont be anal about what spot you are at, people like Deanna, Violet, Maria and Dawn are very close to my heart. They are some of the last people who remember me when I was worse (oh yeah, this pile of issues use to be WORSE)
1. Josh - Nuinethir -(Former Classmate, Friend, ex boyfriend to Rachel)
2.Violet-[[ thE QUEEN bEe ]] ♥ - ( Former high school classmate, Older sisters best friend.)
Theres a little story I have to tell about how Violet and I first met.
My older sister, Mary Kate use to talk about Violet alot, even before I joined her at the high school.She said that when Violet laughs, and her heart is in it, her eyes turn into crescent moons.
We were hanging out and talking in the hallway one day, Mary Kate in her Volleyball uniform, when suddenly there was a gleeful yell and a girl jumped onto Mary Kate's back. Well.... at this point, even I was taller than My sister, and this girl most definitely was as well. There was such an imbalance, the two of them just fell backwards, the taller laughing. I noticed her eyes, they were in a crescent shape. I smiled. "Your eyes look like Crescent moons, you must be Violet."
Needless to say, Violet was confused, and Mary Kate gave me a stern look like I had just insulted the girl.
3. Rachel - Ray - (Former Classmate, girl who helps keep me from going mental, ex-girlfriend to Josh)
I'd consider Ray one of my best friends. Shes certainly one of the only girls Ive been able to open up to mentally. I had only met Rachel and Josh about a year ago. August/Sept 07...It's amazing how so many things can change so quickly...
4. Deanna -Deanna ♥ (012706) - (Former classmate)
Deanna use to ride the bus with me when I was really young. Her younger twin-sisters would cause so much trouble for her it was insane.
5. Madison- MADISON[AkA]Ro
Maddy is an odd girl. I never thought we would get along, and I don't remember how we started hanging out. On the bus it was always Ray, Maddy and me. I think back and fondly smile at how those 10 min were the best part of my night. I looked forward to it because it was so nice being with friends like Maddy and Ray. I guess all thats changing now isn't it?
6. Dawn-smileydkj- (Former classmate, would act like a total asshole with me)
Dawnie! *laughs* Dawn and I caused so many funny predicaments at Maginn, mostly fucking with teachers heads. She was the same boat as me though, always got short changed by the school. It's been awhile since I've seen her.
7. Maria- ~La unica Maria~ - (Former classmate, diva)
Genie... Another very old friend of mine from Maginn. In fact, I still have a picture of Dawn and Maria after our final show of the sound of music our Sophomore year. It was my first year on lighting crew. Dawn was a nun, and Maria was Liesel.... but we all got confused when the director would call for Maria and the lead and Maria would go up.
Maria was my tennis double too. When we first played together, oh my god! We were ready to rip each others heads off! We were always fighting to a point the coach had to make us remember we were friends. Oh my god, what times!!!
8. Brittany - Atheist Zealot - (Childhood friend)
Britty use to live across the street from me, and really was my first friend outside of my family. I remember the first day I asked if she could play. She really helped me explore my imagination as a child by thinking faeries lived in her walls.
9. Shelly - Pegasus - (Online friend)
Peg is someone i met online while talking to her husband at the time, Owen, who was and is the most insanity anyone will ever want. A true blue Aussie who I get to talk to sometimes (IF IM AWAKE!)
10. Ashley- Inkweaver - (cosplay friend)
I first met Ashley when she was being judged on her Aeris(From final Fantasy) costume. We got along really well. She always reminded me of Harry Potter's Hermione, that is when shes not running around like Rikku (Kingdom Heart)
11. Nicole -Crazy Bitch. - (....crazy bitch friend lol)
Nicole and I met on Neopets believe it or not. She use to live in North Carolina, then one day she told me she was moving to New York. When I found out she was going out to Westerlo, I was ecstatic. Since then, Ive dragged her to Cosplay functions and other places so she can get out of her house which we have decided is in the middle of Hell, NY
12. Capital District Gay and Lesbian Community Council
This one isn't really a friend more of a promotion for anyone I know who really needs them. They helped me understand more than I know and I am deeply in gratitude to them.
